Initially, we will address the topic of freedom of expression and personal rights, including their concepts, an analysis of personal rights, including the protection of honor and privacy. Next, we delve into the subject of civil liability, where we will discuss the concept of civil liability, its types, and prerequisites. Finally, we will analyze Fake News and the (im)possibility of civil liability. To do so, we use the inductive approach method, with bibliographic, monographic, doctrinal, and legislative research, and the procedural method used was the explanatory method.
