To contextualize the proposed topic, a literature review is presented on programmable logic controllers, mobile applications, Industry 4.0, Ladder programming and Internet of Things, for industrial automation purposes. For intelligent automation, the PLC300 programmable logic controller was adopted, connected to a frequency inverter and an ESP32 microcontroller, via an RS485 bus. To carry out data communication, the Modbus-RTU protocol was adopted. At the same time, a mobile application was developed for Android on the MIT App Inventor platform, which integrates the automation system to control the conveyor belt speed at three levels. Finally, the results obtained at the end of the work proved to be satisfactory, since, after tests that were carried out with buttons and lamps to simulate the inverter, it became possible to implement communication between the application, the ESP32 and the PLC300 resulting in possibility of controlling engine speed.pt-BREngenharia ElétricaControlador lógico programávelInternet das coisasAutomação industrialSistema de automação aplicada em esteira transportadora no contexto da indústria 4.0Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso
