However, the difficulty in identifying psychological violence is pointed out as a major problem, as it appears diluted in attitudes apparently unrelated to the concept of violence. In this way, it is believed that it will be another mechanism seen as symbolic in the fight against violence against women, as it will be difficult for this new criminal type to happen in a way that is accompanied by sufficient evidence. Thus, the crime of psychological violence against women, its application is not carried out, failing to materialize the protection guaranteed to women, in particular, in the Maria da Penha Law. As a result, despite all the evolution of women, the insufficiency of the new criminal type, together with the Maria da Penha Law.
