Patients with chronic kidney disease have changes in different systems, which leads to a significant change in quality of life. The practice of physical activity makes them more independent and functional. Objective: To evaluate the benefits of outpatient rehabilitation in chronic renal patients. Methodology: The sample consisted of 2 chronic renal patients, aged 35 and 47 years who undergo hemodialysis at the FHST of Erechim/RS. Outpatient rehabilitation was performed 2x / week for 3 months. The study was an experimental, longitudinal study with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The patients performed flexibility, balance, muscle strength and aerobic exercises. Data analysis was performed descriptively. Results: The study was attended by 2 individuals, one female and one male. The training HR of both patients was observed to be 60 to 80% of HRmax. There was an improvement in functional capacity, flexibility, balance, degree of physical activity, muscle strength, range of motion and quality of life when compared pre and post rehabilitation. Conclusion: It was concluded that outpatient rehabilitation for chronic renal patients was extremely important, where patients had several benefits thus improving their physical and emotional condition.pt-BRFisioterapiaInsuficiência renal crônicaExercícios aeróbicosReabilitação metabólicaBenefícios da reabilitação ambulatorial em pacientes renais crônicosTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso
