This type of review is intended to search for and synthesise relevant research. The articles published in the time frame between the years 2016 to 2021 aimed to answer the following research question: "how is the nursing team leadership process in the hospital environment?" With the analysis of the articles, the concern was to understand the profile of the nursing leader in the hospital environment and its impact on the team.
