In this way, the elderly are more susceptible to chronic degenerative diseases and their health is more vulnerable. As the age group, above 60 years, is the fastest growing in Brazil, the third age gains the focus of many studies. Several researchers are studying new methods to reduce declines at this stage. And a method that has been used is dual-task training (TD). Dual-task training is a method rich in possibilities, in activities that can be motor or cognitive or in combination. However, research on this method in healthy elderly people is scarce. The aim of the present study was to verify the influence of TD on quality of life and risk of falls in an elderly woman. This research has a longitudinal, exploratory, quasi-experimental and qualitative character. The study population consisted of an 84-year-old woman who lives in the city of Erechim. Initially, the Time Up Go tests were applied to assess the risk of falls and SF 36 to assess quality of life. The intervention was performed three times a week, for one month, at the participant's residence, and lasted 40 minutes, the session consisted of an initial warm-up, after the motor DT training was performed and to end the session the elderly woman performed stretches global assets. At the end of the intervention, the tests were reapplied on the participant to verify the influence of TD training. Results: The study achieved the objective of verifying the influence of dual-task training on the risk of falls and quality of life in an elderly woman, and it was found that this intervention is of great importance for individuals of the third age, the TD brings benefits to the quality of life and decreases the risk of falls.pt-BRFisioterapiaDupla-tarefaRisco de quedasQualidade de vidaA influência do treinamento de dupla-tarefa sobre a qualidade de vida e risco de quedas em uma idosa residente da cidade de Erechim: um relato de casoTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso
