It is known that society is marked by crimes of public money laundering, where millionaire corruption schemes embezzle the money now destined by the State to supply the population's wishes, enriching businessmen, politicians and influential people in the social environment. From the moment that it began to study the way of acting, it is clear that the organization of these criminal groups prevents the discovery of members or evidence that may link to the proceeds of crime. It is in this way that the Institute da Awarded Collaboration appears as a means of obtaining evidence that gained prominence in the face of Operation Lava Jato, known worldwide for the numbers of arrests and records in the recovery of diverted public resources, in addition to the vast line of investigation that it had been triggered by the contribution of investigated or convicted in exchange for a criminal benefit. It discusses the cost for the State to negotiate with a criminal, the negative and unethical points of the way this means of obtaining evidence is carried out, and, on the other hand, points out the efficiency with which this institute recovered the proceeds of crime and unmasked the millionaire schemes for embezzling public funds. Thus, in view of the above, it can be said that the Brazilian investigative system has gained from legislative innovation, and as long as the constitutional principles, such as the dignity of the human person and due legal process, are respected, this method must continue to be applied guaranteeing the successful investigations.pt-BRDireitoColaboração premiadaCrime organizadoA (in) eficácia do instituto da colaboração premiada frente ao combate do crime organizado no BrasilTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso
