Firstly, it presents the concept of revenge porn along with statistical data on the consequences the crime entails. It discusses the criminal classification with the advent of Law No. 13,718/2018 and the history of other legal provisions that were crucial in the classification of this conduct. Furthermore, it addresses the issue of revenge porn as a form of gender-based violence reproduction, perpetrated through power dynamics, due to a structurally sexist and patriarchal society. In a second moment, it presents the concept of justice throughout the years and the evolution of legal thinking and practice. It compares retributive justice and restorative justice based on their concepts and key characteristics to ultimately present restorative justice as an alternative means for conflict resolution. With the initial concepts defined, it demonstrates the inefficacy of the criminal process in addressing victims of gender-based violence. It explores the applicability of restorative methods within the Brazilian legal system as a way to address the shortcomings of the criminal process for victims of gender-based crimes. Finally, it presents the possibility of applying restorative methods to gender-based crimes, particularly in cases of revenge porn, and highlights victim-offender mediation. The conclusion reached is that restorative justice would be a better approach for resolving gender-based crimes, especially revenge porn, due to its empathetic and reconstructive perspective, in contrast to the Brazilian criminal system, which is built on sexist and oppressive biases.pt-BRDireitoPornografia de vingançaViolência de gêneroTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso
