Biasus, FelipeGiacomini, Marta2021-04-092021-04-092018http://repositorio.uricer.edu.br/handle/35974/299This empirical, descriptive and cross-sectional study aimed to investigate the profile of psychoactive drug users and which are the main psychotropic drugs used by the users of the Family Health Strategy (FHS) of the Municipality of Ibiaçá / RS, as well as the reasons for use and the ways that this public finds to deal with psychic suffering. We analyzed data from the public pharmacy registry, which pointed out from July to December 2017 the number of 743 users who took some psychoactive drugs, of which 254 users were selected to compose the survey, for which it was sent in the period from March to August 2018, the data collection questionnaire. After data analysis, the results showed that the most used psychotropic drugs are sertraline, venlafaxine and fluoxetine. As for the profile, users are mostly 70% female, 27% are between 60 and 69 years old, 27% are retired, and the marital status is 51% married.
