Manfredini, Cibele SandriConci, Leticia2022-02-012022-02-012021http://repositorio.uricer.edu.br/handle/35974/364The evolution of pregnancy is a physiological process that must be seen by pregnant women and health teams as part of a healthy life experience, where changes occur in the woman's body, physically, socially and emotionally. The expected end of pregnancy is the birth of a healthy newborn (NB) without trauma to the mother and fetus. However, in some cases this is not possible due to complications during the birth process (BRASIL, 2006). Carrying out prenatal care from the beginning of pregnancy until birth is important, as monitoring is essential for the prevention and/or detection of comorbidities in the pregnant woman and the conceptus, thus making the pregnancy as healthy as possible. In the academic experience in a reference hospital, for the care of pregnant women by the Unified Health System (SUS), it was possible to observe that the births that occur there are diverse, that is, there are different modes of delivery, gestational ages, ages of pregnant women, prenatal care and the newborn's health conditions. Understanding that these and other variables can influence the well-being of women and children, the following question arose: What is the profile of births in a reference hospital for the care of pregnant women by the Unified Health System (SUS)? Thus, the general objective of this study was established to know the characteristics of mothers and newborns in a reference hospital, for the care of pregnant women, by the Unified Health System (SUS). It was carried out in a maternity hospital in the North of Rio Grande do Sul. This hospital is a regional reference for regular and high-risk obstetric care. Data collection took place from October 16th to November 16th. Ten mother/child, postpartum and birth binomials participated in the study, who were hospitalized in the maternity hospital of the hospital defined for the study, in October and November of 2021. The mother voluntarily agreed to participate in the study and signed on the Informed Consent Form (FICF), allowing access to your and your newborn child's medical records. From the study, it was possible to verify that the mothers who had adequate prenatal care had a calmer pregnancy and a healthy birth, as those who, for some reason, did not undergo adequate follow-up came to have complications during pregnancy and the birth, highlighting among these, the premature birth.pt-BREnfermagemCaracterísticas dos nascimentosPatologias gestacionaisPré-natalCaracterísticas de nascimentos em um hospital referência no atendimento de gestantes pelo sistema único de saúde, no período de agosto à novembro de 2021Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso
