However, in the situation in which they simultaneously experience biological and adoptive parenting, it becomes an even more challenging time. Therefore, this research had as objective to investigate how is experienced the adoptive parenting from the perspective of parents who already experience biological parenting. The research followed a qualitative cross-sectional, exploratory type design, in which multiple case studies were adopted as a methodological strategy. Participated in the research, four pairs of parents, married or in stable union, who simultaneously experience biological and adoptive parenting.
