Bula, Natalia NakadomariZiger, Marciane Fátima2021-04-092021-04-092020http://repositorio.uricer.edu.br/handle/35974/297The hospital institution has grown and developed in recent times, above all there is a requirement that health and disease be treated in an even more comprehensive way, considering the relationship between the physical space of the hospital with users. The lack of infrastructure, the presence of inappropriate spaces, low demand for resources, medicines and materials, combined with numerous other negative factors encompass the precarious health sector. Therefore, the hospital environments, being directly linked to the health of users, require comfort and quality, offering flexible and humanized spaces, guaranteeing patient satisfaction, allowing tranquility, well-being, confidence and conditions for a prompt recovery. In this context, the importance of planning a health building is evident, that is, architecture plays a fundamental role through the ability to work with the needs, visualizing the existing problems in favor of building suitable environments for each situation. Based on these conclusions, the objective of this work is to propose new interventions for the João Paulo II Municipal Hospital, located in the municipality of Áurea in Rio Grande do Sul. Dismantling and minimizing the difficulties, building an architectural proposal that suits the needs, being that, the institution will gain greater productivity, quality and humanization in spaces, in addition to an increase in the provision of hospital services, optimizing the use of public resources. The methodology of the work is descriptive, based on the analysis of secondary data and propositional synthesizing all the design intentions in a program of needs and study of the form. The results of the research show that the quality of the hospital building, results in increased satisfaction and well-being of sick patients, helping in their recovery, through a humanized architecture.pt-BRArquitetura e UrbanismoHospital MunicipalAmbiênciaHumanizaçãoHospital Municipal João Paulo II: Áurea-RSTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso
