Levinski, Deived JuniorBender, Marieli2025-04-082024https://repositorio.uricer.edu.br/handle/35974/841Nursing is an evidence-based science that encompasses study, practice and research, focusing on the health of individuals, families and communities. It is an area that requires constant studies and research to implement innovations in care, aiming to improve the quality of care. In pediatric care in emergency and urgent care services, it is essential that the child is treated according to his/her specific needs. Emergency services must follow protocols, have an adequate structure, qualified human resources and trained professionals, thus ensuring quality and safe care. The objective of this study is to identify the difficulties encountered by nursing professionals in pediatric care in emergency and urgent care sectors, through an integrative literature review. Specific objectives: To mention the duties of nursing professionals in pediatric care and the characteristics necessary to work in this area. Methodology: This is an integrative literature review study, based on a search in the VHL, through registered descriptors (DECS). Results and discussions: Through careful analysis of the articles searched and found, it was possible to identify several common points, showing that some of the difficulties faced by professionals are directly related to their own feelings, communication within the team, pain management in children and work overload. In this context, the implementation of protocols and training are essential to ensure the provision of a quality service, which involves not only children, but also their families. Conclusion: the difficulty faced by nursing in pediatric emergency care is a relevant topic, as it involves challenges related to the care of children in critical situations, and it is necessary to identify the difficulties in order to then develop strategies that facilitate the care of nursing professionals in pediatric emergencies.pt-BREnfermagemAtuação da equipe de enfermagem na assistência pediátrica nos setores de urgência e emergência: revisão integrativaTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso
