The aim was to assess whether Parenting Workshops combined with Family Mediation are effective in peacefully resolving family disputes, based on the perception of legal professionals working at CEJUSC in the Erechim jurisdiction. Family mediation is an approach that seeks to promote dialogue and mutual understanding, enabling the parties involved to reach consensual agreements, thus preserving parental relationships. Parenting workshops, in turn, complement this approach by offering support to parents in education and the development of parenting skills, which are essential for understanding the child’s perspective during divorce, all within a harmonious environment. The study discusses the need for procedural effectiveness, highlighting that the application of these practices has shown contributions to conflict resolution and has helped prevent future litigation. The research revealed a more contemporary view of family dynamics and how mediation and workshops can aid in promoting less litigious divorces and the well-being of children and adolescents. The research used a qualitative, descriptive, and exploratory approach, employing bibliographic research techniques and field research with questionnaires for workshop facilitators, mediators working at the Judicial Center for Conflict Resolution and Citizenship (CEJUSC) in the Erechim jurisdiction, as well as Public Defenders and lawyers who have worked in Erechim and have experienced family law cases where parenting workshops and family mediation were used.pt-BRDireitoDireito de FamíliaMediação familiarOficina de parentalidadeResolução de conflitosFortalecendo laços: mediação familiar, oficina de parentalidade e a efetividade processual no Direito de FamíliaTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso
