In view of the exponential growth of photovoltaic systems in industrial environments, and the typical characteristics present in these environments, which are mostly composed of equipment equipped with coils, which were active and reactive power for their operation, worked through the present work point out the relationship between a low power factor and the insertion of a photovoltaic system as one of the sources of electricity generation in the consumer unit. In view of this, a field study was carried out in an industry with photovoltaic generation with the perspective of achieving, through analyzes carried out with the aid of an energy analyzer from the company EMBRASUL, RE6000, the expected results in order to verify the proposed hypothesis, and after analyzing the appropriate results, a study bench was set up to compare the results obtained in the field with the results obtained in a reduced-scale environment produced in the laboratory. Finally, it is stated that the insertion of a photovoltaic system in an industrial environment is of great value, however, it is concluded that the negative impact on the power factor must be corrected in order to mitigate the problems originated from a low power factor.pt-BREngenharia ElétricaAnalisador de energiaFator de potênciaGeração fotovoltaicaEstudo do fator de potência em indústrias com geração fotovoltaicaTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso
