Sartori, Giana Lisa ZanardoValle, Cristine Pichler Dalla2025-03-202024https://repositorio.uricer.edu.br/handle/35974/829This research sought to analyze the historical evolution of the protection of people with disabilities, the dignity of the human person as a central principle of guaranteeing the rights of people with disabilities, and in the end, the current legislation and labor relations for people with disabilities, in order to analyze the (in)compatibility of the requirement for a medical report to hire them. From this perspective, we opted for a comprehensive analysis of the topic, aiming to demonstrate the evolution of legislation aimed at people with disabilities, especially with regard to work relations. The Statute of Persons with Disabilities, promulgated in 2015, represents a significant milestone for the inclusion and protection of the rights of people with disabilities in Brazil. This work addresses the challenges related to the hiring and work relationships of these people in light of this legislation, as well as all international, constitutional and infra-constitutional legislation previously produced, until its elaboration was possible. Hiring people with disabilities in the job market is a relevant issue in many countries, including Brazil. Although significant advances have been made in legislation and awareness in recent years, there are still challenges to be overcome. The research method is analytical-descriptive, with bibliographic and documentary search.pt-BRDireitoPessoa com deficiênciaMercado de trabalhoEstatuto da Pessoa com Deficiência e os desafios para a contratação e relações de trabalhoTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso
