Basic concepts about the generation of photovoltaic solar energy are presented, such as the functioning of a cell and a photovoltaic module, the batteries used in off-grid photovoltaic systems, their respective charging systems, as well as MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) for maximum power tracking. Besides, the mathematical equation of the DC-DC CUK converter for design and operation modes was effectuated, in addition to the simulation of the converter and the integrated system, and the assembly of the system in a prototype. The obtained results satisfy the requirements described in the objectives and show the efficiency of the CUK converter in battery charging and in the use of the maximum power tracking technique. The values found in the experimental tests are in agreement with the calculated ones, validating the proposed methodological procedures, as well as showing the proper functioning of the energy processing system.pt-BREngenharia ElétricaConversor CC-CC CUKEnergia solar fotovoltaicaDesenvolvimento de um conversor CC-CC CUK para o carregamento de bateria de sistemas fotovoltaicosTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso
