Resumo
Este trabalho de conclusão de curso aborda a questão da (im)possibilidade da deserdação em razão de abandono afetivo no contexto do Direito de Família e Sucessório no Brasil. Explorando as implicações legais, éticas e psicológicas dessa temática complexa, o estudo investiga a interação entre direito, família, afeto e herança. Os principais tópicos incluem a evolução do conceito de família, o princípio da afetividade, os princípios gerais do direito sucessório, as modalidades de sucessão, e as situações de exclusão sucessória. Com uma análise crítica desses elementos, o trabalho busca fornecer insights para enriquecer o debate jurídico e social sobre o assunto. Destaca-se que no presente trabalho se utilizou da pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, conforme o método de abordagem e analítico-descritivo quanto ao procedimento.

This undergraduate thesis explores the issue of (im)possibility of disinheritance based on emotional neglect in the context of Family and Succession Law in Brazil. Examining the legal, ethical, and psychological implications of this complex topic, the study
investigates the interplay between law, family, affection, and inheritance. Key topics include the evolution of the concept of family, the principle of affection, the general principles of succession law, the modes of succession, and situations of disinheritance. Through a critical analysis of these elements, the thesis aims to provide insights to enrich the legal and social debate on the subject. It is noteworthy that in the present work bibliographic and documentary research was used, according to the approach and analytical-descriptive method regarding the procedure.
