A prática de cyberbullying contra crianças e adolescentes

Abstract

This monograph seeks to understand whether in the Brazilian legal system there are legal means to control and raise awareness about cyberbullying. Seeking to briefly analyze the evolution of the world wide web and its importance for the theme, considering that with the emergence of the modern internet, the mode of interaction between people has changed. With regard to the practice of bullying, it aims to try to understand what the practice is. What is its conceptualization, how it occurs, where it occurs, what are the greatest difficulties in its combat. It also looks for the consequences of the practice for children and adolescents, and even plausible solutions to alleviate the problem. In addition, an attempt was made to research and analyze the main decisions on the subject in the civil sphere, in particular, and in the criminal sphere. The methodology used was bibliographical research, through books, articles, doctrine and relevant legislation. The approach method applied was the inductive one. As for the procedure, the descriptive analytical method was used.
